Hot Beverage- Korean Honey Citron Tea review

Hello again Readers!

Today I will be doing a review on a Korean hot beverage called Honey Citron Tea.
Just as a warning, I am unsure of the brand that produces this lovely hot beverage but I think the Label is pretty distinguishable if ever you want to look for it in an Asian grocery store.

This tea is a very intriguing tea, simply put.
It's not what most Western societies would consider tea, it looks remarkably similar to Marmalade and to taste it without mixing into boiling water you would definitely consider putting it on your morning toast ^__^
However, the instructions state to add 2-3 teaspoons to 80ccs of water, not quite sure how much that is in metric or imperial measures.

As for the taste, it is pleasant to drink and would probably be quite beneficial if you had a cold as this does say it has Vitamin C as an ingredients and quite possibly soothing for a sore throat as the citrus peel almost has a numbing affect.

It tastes mostly of citrus, the honey flavor isn't really there for me and it is sweetened already so no sweetener is needed, which earns a slightly minus score because you cannot add honey to make it taste more Honey-Citron flavored.

It does actually have pieces of citrus peel, this is a plus for me as I like it and it's a nice little surprise at the bottom of the cup, though if you are not a fan of this you might not enjoy this feature at all.

A portioning of 500g, I'd say is a little disappointing for the steep cost of $7.20  *__*  and you may want to only use 2 teaspoons per serving instead of 3 like I have been, and not have more than one serve a day XD it runs out pretty quick this way.

I have to admit I am very much a fan of this Honey Citron despite the lacking of honey tastes, and I find it great during the cold Winter days, specially after being caught out in the rain.

This purchase is perhaps a 6/10 because overall the product it's self is good but the pricing is a little high.

However if you do find it, and feel the experience outweighs the cost give it a try  :)

Until next time, Have fun and be well!

First Food Review! Kuai Kuai Corn Snack-Strawberry Condensed Milk Flavor.

Hey Everyone,
Yesterday was my long awaited trip to Adelaide China Town as a late Celebration of my 27th Birthday!
My fiance Nathan and I had a nice amount of spending money and we met up with one of Nathan's long standing friends.
Over the next few blogs I will be reviewing some of my purchases from the two Asian Grocery stores I visited while we were there.

Today, I am reviewing "Kuai Kuai Brand" Corn Snacks.
These caught my eye with it's bright pink packaging, printed with cute little chibi style characters.

The first thing that surprised me was the size of the packet itself, the actual weight of the product totaled 52g but the sizing of the packaging gave the impression of a bit more than that, but I guess that would be to provide air cushioning for the corn snacks themselves.

I was delightfully surprised when I opened the packet. They smelled so yummy, creamy and sweet and distinctly of Strawberry.

More surprisingly, was the color of the corn snacks. Pink!

As for the taste, they really did taste as good as they smelled.
This is always important to me, because nothing is more disappointing is a food that smells awesome but is a big let down in the flavor department.

Flavor specifics- The strawberry flavor is pretty prominent! You can taste the strawberry flavor quite easily and it doesn't have that over-the-top sugary taste, now if you are an eater of strawberries you will know that they aren't a berry that is all sweetness, there is a slight tang to them.
These corn snacks had that lovely sweet but tangy taste of strawberries, but then came the creaminess of the Condensed Milk.
The unique thing about these corn snacks were that they had a slight savory taste to them but this for me was not unpleasant.

All in all, these Corn Snacks were a successful purchase, the flavor hit was just right, the corn snacks were bright and cheery and definitely more-ish.
The size might be a let down for some for the $1.98 price but I think the over-all fun experience of eating these might make up for that.
My opinion is that if you see these in your China Town travels, pick a packet up and give them a try :D

Until next time,
Eerie <3

Welcome to Eating, Eerie Doll Style!

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my first installment of Eating,Eerie Style!
This of course is the standard introductory blog, ^___^.
I am Eerie, I am 27 and live in Australia!
You will find that a lot the foods I will be blogging will be of Asian delights or slightly indulgent.
I will try to blog some of my own cooking, which might occasionally include some lighter options.

I also promise to try to keep this as upbeat and fun, and regular as possible, so long as finance and time allows.
Thanks and I hope to see you again!
